Supporting a single multi-country global instance of SAP HCM across time zones from Asia Pacific to Middle East to UK, as well as supporting Fiori, Arch FLM forms, OpenText, SuccessFactors and integration between many of these systems plus Application Link Enabling (ALE) interfaces between different instances of SAP.Key Responsibilities• Providing system governance as Global Technical Design Authority • Review and Authorise changes for all HCM systems for project launches, global annual upgrades/patching and other large scale system changes as well as for BAU support issues, fixes and updates.• Acting as ‘Solution Engineer’ producing both High Level Design papers & detailed Solution Designs• Sitting on Group Change Approval Board – reviewing all large scale system changes and/or planned maintenance/downtime on all corporate IT systems plus networks, firewalls, power, telephony etc.• Strategic guidance to all levels of HR & business on processes impacting on HR systems.• Liaising with external support providers and work with external implementation partners.Key Achievements• Global deployment of SuccessFactors (SF) BizX & LMS plus design interface from HCM to SF BizX.• Global deployment of SF RCM plus design interface of new hires from SF RCM into HCM.• Design and deployment of ‘Lite’ HCM solution for multiple countries – enabling basic global headcount reporting, integration with global User Access Management system and use of SF.• Identified opportunity to decommission defunct SAP ERec systems resulting in significant reduction of license costs and maintenance cost of seven servers. • Creation of multiple bespoke programs and screens for Absence and Work Schedules where standard functionality could not be adopted.• Creation of bespoke ESS screen to display online payslips for population with Payroll data held outside of SAP.• Wrote bespoke program to adjust configuration parameters for OpenText in each tier of SAP system.
