I firmly believe that accounting should not be a complicated thing to learn and that the industry is often blinded by legislation, acronyms and complex processes. It has been my goal for the last 8 years to unlock the power of understanding in this area ensuring that this can become an enjoyable process and ensuring that a high level of satisfaction is gleaned in all I do within work. Whether training new colleagues or providing on the job coaching and mentoring, I use various method of coaching to support both technical ability and the skill in relaying this newfound knowledge to customer's (both external and internal) in order to drive understanding and practice. Although my background is in Accounts and Payroll, I have found a huge passion in passing on knowledge and supporting others and making a difference to their day to day experience as colleagues. Coaching is something I naturally gravitate towards as an interest and an area of the business I have repeatedly found myself in throughout my career. The National Health Service is a critical resource publicly funded healthcare system in England, and one of the four National Health Service systems in the United Kingdom. It is the second largest single-payer healthcare system in the world. Aside from being a fantastic employer, they have also afforded me a huge amount of opportunity to grow.
