I am responsible for the development and coordination of national programs relating to research software, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems. My experience is chiefly in the National Growth Fund (NGF) and the Knowledge and Innovation Covenant (KIC).

During the 2021-2022 academic year, I worked in the string theory group at Utrecht University under the supervision of prof. dr. Thomas Grimm. The subject of my research was the computation of the periods and resulting scalar potentials for flux compactifications of F-theory on Calabi-Yau fourfolds. My thesis was awared with a 9/10.

I worked in the quantum optics group at Leiden University under the supervision of Wolfgang Löffler. My research was about comparing positronium (the bound state of an electron and anti-electron) with its analogue in semiconductor physics: an exciton (the bound state of an electron and hole). My thesis was rewarded with a grade of 9/10.

I worked as a teaching assistant for the course 'Introduction to Modern Physics', as taught by Koenraad Schalm. I taught biweekly tutorials for a group of 30 students.

Promotional work includes giving presentations about the Physics bachelor's program at Leiden University and providing information about the university to new and interested students. I visited and gave presentations at around 15 schools across the Netherlands.
