Built high standard quality systems to make shutdown and startup in planned time window with standard procedures, continuously enhance to reduce downtime year over year, set a very high standard bar globally, yearly planned downtime is minimized to 4 hours. 4. No major issue happened on middleware portion which is critical backbone of automation systems during owing period that keep factories running smoothly as well as new projects lunching.

Taking both Client engineering Supervisor and engineer roles of IT infrastructure group, Managing 10 employees(including Contingent works), whole team is responsible for whole factory manufacturing client infrastructure building and maintenance to keep the whole factory automation production line expanding and running smoothly, management scope including over 700 clients, 70 network printers and the other client peripheral equipment etc, OS including Winxp, NT,2000 and SUN solaris. Team is also responsible for finding and implementing new client engineering solutions for the company to keep it advanced in the industry.

Work with related function groups to implement automation and information systems in Intel PD factories, 24x7 sustaining and maintaining line automation systems to make them run smoothly. Communicating with development team and user team as the bridge between them, work out automation solutions and keep improving system performance basing on user’s reequipments.PM of some critical factory projects (and CPU ULT startup, CPU ST, Chipset ULT startup, FCBGA 3 etc)CPU ULT Startup:CPU startup in Pudong Intel happened in 2002, Intel invested more than 300 Million US$ which is one of the biggest high tech investment by foreign company in Shanghai. CPU ULT is the most critical and big part of this project, it covers majority CPU automation system , shop floor control system and decision making system. With 9 months preparation and planning, implementation, Sam as site leader successfully integrated those systems with Q&R, Test engineering, Logistic, planning, Assembly engineering, training, manufacturing, IT and Malaysia PG, U.S Chandler Intel. Qualified those systems to support PD site CPU startup and ramping up.CPU STSubstrate is a part of CPU unit, Intel has several substrate Vendors. In order to trace the subsrate quality and effectively manage excursion, Sam is started from engagement in design, and leaded implementing this substrate traceability in PD site which is across whole CPU assembly area, with this capability, PD Intel saves more 1 million U.S$ through effective excursion management each year.FCBGA 3 StartupFCBGA 3 is one of key Chipset product, when introducing it in PD, it impacted many IT systems, Sam is the IT leader for ensuring all the IT system readiness with leading 7 IT system engineers, finally successfully passed site certification in planned time period.
