Responsible for the design, architecture, support and security of a global MPLS network supporting 600 locations and 12000 users utilizing Cisco and Aruba Wireless, Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Nexus Switches, Palo Alto firewalls and A10 load balancers. Upgraded Data Centers from legacy architecture that was causing global performance issues to adequate equipment along with additional bandwidth, redundancy and security. Upgraded and re architected network equipment and topology in remote locations that was also causing performance issues.

Redesigned a Layer 2 network into a fully redundant, high availability Layer 2/Layer 3 network with Cisco 6509’s in the core to support a low latency trading network in 2 locations with Cisco 3560 Layer 3 switches at the edge for trading floor support. Redesigned a Layer 2 network into a Layer 2/3 network using 4507’s in another location for trading floor support. Responsible for the network architecture, design, security, monitoring, support, maintenance and configuration of all network devices in global network, including routers, switches, firewalls, application firewalls, application load balancers, remote access/SSL VPN, WAN and WAN accelerators for 17 locations worldwide. Provided consulting services worldwide for the installation, network design, network integration, deployment, troubleshooting and optimization of load balancing various applications both locally and globally. These duties included advanced configuration of F5 products, BIGIP Load Balancers, Local Traffic Management and Global Traffic Management, Firepass SSL VPN’s, 3DNS, Wan Jet and Web Accelerator. Developed statements of work (SOW’s) detailing deliverables and specifics of engagements to clients. These professional service engagements expanded the customer’s knowledge on the best practices in designing, implementing, integrating and optimizing the F5 product line for their particular environment.
