Appointed to redefine the consultancy and “Good Ideas” social innovator accelerator, as well as develop and implement fundraising, income and events strategies.

I was responsible for a change project focusing on key areas including: finance, governance, events and membership. Conducted sweeping review of Trust operations in first 12 months. Successes included 75% increase in direct debit payments for membership and employment of three temporary staff, both addressing critical operational requirements, through grant awards of £21,000+. I reintroduced necessary accounting, investment, and monthly finance procedures, implementing long-term processes which are now enhancing the Trust's financial transparency to its membership and board of Charity Trustees. I was responsible for the Trust's calendar of annual events, raising £10,000. I was also a key stakeholder in the Trust Museum's redevelopment, reviewing grants and ensuring efficient organisation of events and communications surrounding the £1.8m capital project.

Guest lecturing on starting new organisations, giving advice, techniques, contacts and more on modules including Enterprise and Creativity, Organisations and Society, Accounting and Leadership. Tutoring undergraduates on a variety of sub-honours modules, covering topics including analysis of financial data, organisational culture and identity, and organisations in society. Dedicated to continued pedagogic reflection as evidenced by engagement with curriculum and assessment design courses, as well as the University of Southampton's "Teaching Research Methods after Covid-19" course.

Responsible for coaching two individual groups to the fulfilment of their first qualitative research project, exploring experiences of resilience among undergraduate and postgraduate students.Provided regular reports to CEED (project owners) and project sponsors, as well as interventionist advice to students. Encouraged students to reach their own research decisions throughout. Responsible for the creation and coordination of supplementary academic workshops for undergraduates in the School of Management. Consulted with relevant student and staff representatives to identify pain points for the undergraduate community, thereafter recruiting PGR students to prepare and deliver workshops across the semester.

A charity designed to reduce the feelings of loneliness felt at University.Establishing Populus in St Andrews in September 2016, engaging students by holding one or two events each week, initiating fundraising opportunities, creating a highly efficient Executive Committee, Volunteer Force, and Hall Panel. Liaising with funding bodies and Student Service St Andrews. Creating all marketing content. PR for all St Andrews newspapers. Toward the end of my tenure, this role included strategic and structural overhaul, followed by transfer of ownership to existing volunteers. This was followed by my and other trustees' succession. Populus continues to be active in St Andrews and Dundee.
