F5 SIRT is a dedicated, global team that operates 24/7 to manage the receipt, investigation, and public reporting of security vulnerability information related to F5 products and services. My primary responsibility is to develop, improve, and scale this program. F5 SIRT also helps customers quickly mitigate attacks. During these security incidents, our team works to protect user identities, applications, corporate assets, and customer data. We coordinate with other F5 teams to develop and deploy technical countermeasures. A response doesn’t stop when the attack does, so we look beyond each reported incident to reduce the overall harm to an organization, as well as understand, anticipate and deter future threats. I help drive continuous improvement and scale this program using program/project management best practices and cross-org partnerships.
