Key responsibilities:• lead and provide technical direction and support to the mechanical engineering team and to Slabmaking operations.• manage the workload of the mechanical team supporting Slabmaking.• provide engineering support for the day-to-day operations of the plant.• ensure compliance with critical engineering standards through the sharing of knowledge.• lead and deliver multi-discipline engineering projects• keep abreast of appropriate, leading-edge solutions & opportunities in your field of expertise, sharing this knowledge with the mechanical engineering team.• contribute to a large network of engineers working across a diverse range of manufacturing processes.
