Monitor, analyze, and detect dashboards, network traffic, and intrusion detection and prevention systems for security events in order to perform triage analysis to identify security incidents and respond to cyber threats around the clock.Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analysis of relevant event detail and summary information to include performing initial malware analysis utilizing automated means.Perform incident handling duties of various severities within the defined computer security incident response process. Support cyber defense functions to protect our users from cyber security incidents that have potential to cause negative impact and reporting of those cyber events. Respond to computer security incidents by collecting, analyzing, preserving digital evidence and ensure that incidents are recorded and tracked in accordance with SOC requirements.Ensures that all identified events are promptly validated and thoroughly investigated.Provide oversight and guidance to junior analysts in maintaining records of security monitoring and incident response activities, apply playbook driven solutions, utilizing case management and ticketing technologies.Maintain operational logs, conduct daily shift checklists, handover reports, and incident reports.Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs.
