At RAICES, our team focuses on empowering children in immigration proceedings, ensuring they and their loved ones are not alone while navigating complex legal challenges. My education at The University of Texas School of Law, capped with a JD and various clinical experiences, has been instrumental for me in this endeavor. My legal education has allowed me to hone in on my problem-solving skills—vital for my role in legal advocacy and representation. Previously, as the Ramsey Clark Fellow at the Equal Justice Center, my fellowship mission was to enhance and strengthen Texas workers' access to justice. These services included representing folks navigating wage, discrimination, and overtime issues. My commitment to service is rooted in early experiences of community support & public service in the Rio Grande Valley and is reflected in my current role. Always looking forward to connect!
