By working at The Barn I have gained an abundance of skills to better myself as a social being with great communicative skills. Each night I welcomed and served guests in a friendly and timely manner. While working, I also maintained a positive relationship with fellow staff members.

While working at the Broadway Center, I spent time in all three of the classrooms. My duties in the classrooms varied. Mainly I worked closely with the staff and students, to help improve classroom control by meeting the needs of each child ages 2, 3, 4/5. As the lead school aged teacher, I prepared weekly lesson plans for math, science, art, and reading for 30 students. I also coordinated with my assistant teachers to ensure we were all on the same page with the lessons and small group rotations each day. Furthermore, I communicated daily with parents about their child's academic and behavioral progress.

While working at Camp Albrecht Acres, I cleaned and sanitized the buildings as well as washed, dried, and folded laundry. I also worked with the other housekeepers as a team and use teamwork to get the jobs done.
