Biophilia, Human Health, and User-Based Design.By focusing on these three ideas, architects can create spaces that promote holistic and integrative design in our world. Through contemporary architecture, I hope to design places where the community feels healthy, safe, and successful. I, Samantha Jordan Hendrickson, am a architectural student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign who has always been curious about the world around her. In addition to my main focus, I received both a Spanish Minor + a Leadership Certificate upon graduation in May 2021. These two skills have taught me the importance of servant leadership and shared community values.
