I worked as a Research Assistant for a multi-disciplinary project called, Maine Greenland Collaborations. The research project studied the impact of ecological change on coastal communities in both Maine and Greenland. As a Research Assistant I learned methods of qualitative and collaborative research, phenomenological practice, artistic documentation, and methods of publication. I worked primarily in the field on Long Island in Casco Bay, ME, and the Southern farmland regions of Greenland. In my role I prepped research materials, established relationships with interested populations, and interviewed participants. In addition I worked first-hand on the production outlets of the project including, but not limited to, photography, videography, audio, and online accessibilities like GIS Storymapping and social media.

I worked as server and bartender at the Run of the Mill Brewery where I learned valuable customer service skills.

During my role as a lab assistant in the Archaeology lab, I catalogued and photographed artifacts, prepped course materials for department professors, and assisted in public events, like an open dig on the Rebecca Nurse homestead in Salem, Massachusetts.

As a Photojournalist I worked for the school newspaper attending events for action shots, and captured specific portraits as well.
