I am a sophomore biomedical engineering student in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. I will be graduating in May of 2027. I am passionate about developing a career path in healthcare and expanding my research and clinical experience. I currently serve as the Vice President of Finance in the Delta Zeta sorority. In this leadership position, I manage all finances and spending within the organization and utilize officer feedback to revise and restructure the $200,000 budget for the upcoming year. I also work closely with the other executive board members to lead weekly chapter meetings, as well as plan and supervise social events.Additionally, I am researching under a BIMS graduate student in Dr. Brian Davis's comparative genetics lab for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M. In his Canidae Pangenome Graphs for Phenotypic Variation project, I have gained experience in wet lab and computational analysis to compare structural variations in dog genomes that relate to diseases. Through these experiences, I strengthen my leadership, organization, problem solving, and communication skills.
