I have a strong educational background with a degree in English Education from The University of South Dakota. My previous roles have allowed me the opportunity to work with and educate ages ranging from 5-21. I am extremely passionate about education placing a high emphasis on equity within education. There are a lot of disparities regardless of the work environment and I am most interested in racial disparities. I challenge them while working in schools, I write about them, and am quick to speak up for the equality of all. I enjoy all things that allow me to express the creative side of myself. I am constantly coming up with new ideas that I would love the opportunity to implement.
