I am a Cuban-American Miami to Boston transplant with a B.A. in Psychology and currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate (J.D. expected May 2024) . My area of study throughout my undergraduate career at Florida International University path fostered the development of various skills such as extensive researching, writing and analyzing complex data. Before law school I dedicated my time to a non-profit organization as an associate writer, editor, translator and volunteer coordinator. The next phase of my academic and professional career has been attending Suffolk University Law School, of which I have been an active member of the community. This year, I served as President of the Latin American Law Students Association and Co-Chair of the DEI Committee, and I will be continuing my student leadership as the President of the Student Bar Association for 2023-2024. In Summer 2022, I worked in family and immigration law at De Novo Center for Justice and Healing as an intern in Cambridge, MA. Since Summer of 2023, I have been developing my expertise in immigration as a law clerk in the Special Immigrant Juvenile Department of the Law Offices of Johanna M. Herrero in Boston, MA.
