My passion for the food service and nutrition industry started at a young age. As a child I loved creating recipe books and even invented an entire candy company. My interest for this field grew over the years, and really solidified when I completed my bachelor's degree in Dietetics at Eastern Kentucky University. Here I also minored in business to allow an avenue for entrepreneurship as desired. Afterwards, I completed my Dietetic Internship at the University of Kentucky.Currently, I have been a practicing dietitian for the past five years. I have a wide range of experience in the field from food service management to clinical services (in both outpatient and inpatient settings). Clinical specialties I have the most experience working with so far include, geriatric, bariatric and oncology patients. I have enjoyed my journey in this career field, and I cannot wait to continue my growth!
