Here I trained as a barber working on the shop floor at all times . Gowning the clients up to meeting their requirements within their cut. Learning the different techniques with clippers including fading and cutting different types of hair eg Afro carribean , Asian , Caucasian . It was a great hands on experience and i am now able to cut gents hair aswell as womens . worked very well in tier team and love pleasing clients and meeting new people every day .

Sosho is a nightclub set in the heart of leicester city centre . The nightclub was high on VIP and we catered for all sized groups. Hostessing included meeting and greeting people people who had booked a booth within the club , supply them with wristbands , sit the VIPs down and serve them with the drinks they request . The job required being very fast on your feet , involved dressing presentable and classy at all times and keeping the booths happy .

Moda Greco is a popular high class hairdressers in leicester city centre , here i trained to be a ladies hairdresser through a training programme held within the salon . The apprenticeship was 2 years long and involved having clients on a weekly basis to learn the trade on a hands on experience. I graduated summer 2013 becoming a fully qualified hairdresser. The apprenticeship also involved learning people skills and dealing with unhappy / happy customers in a manner which was redeemed more than acceptable . I also went to a college to do a Indian head massage course to build upon my skills. The most important quality I learnt is if your working in a close team you can solve anything .
