I am a solo law practitioner in Juneau, Alaska, assisting clients with work involving family law, estates, contract law, and a variety of other areas as needed.I am also a trained mediator, and am looking to expand this practice in Juneau by promoting healthy conflict management. I design and make mixed-metal steampunk inspired jewelry.When I inherited my grandmother's jewelry collection, I discovered some long-forgotten brooches made from watch faces and gears and thought they were absolutely fantastic. Researched and drafted memorandum of law regarding federal environmental statutes, administrative procedure, and evidentiary and ethical responsibilities for new and ongoing litigation. Catalogued documents produced in response to discovery requests, and observed related depositions. Analyzed Alaska Constitution and individual Borough Codes to assist in client consultation.

Drafted comment letters in response to Environmental Impact Reports created under California Environmental Quality Act. Researched and analyzed issues in land use and development, as well as issues arising under the National Environmental Policy Act. Observed public comments related to transportation and urban planning at the San Diego Association of Governments.

My main job is gathering details from callers to determine if a renter, buyer, or borrower is potentially being discriminated against in renting, buying, procuring a loan or obtaining insurance. If there is the possibility of discrimination, the FHC works with the person to uncover evidence of unlawful behavior. I am also currently working on our annual UnityFest, a 'culture shock' of performances from diverse San Diego dancers.

APRL works through the San Diego area to promote the benefits of an animal-products free lifestyle. We are currently working on ending the sale on foie gras before the 2012 ban goes into effect. The APRL attorney is also currently representing the La Jolla seals, so the city does not force the seals off of the beach.
