• Coordinate physician and staff schedules. • Ordering and stocking supplies for the clinic.• Training all new Clinic Managers in southern Alberta, including assisting to set up two new clinics in Lethbridge. • Responding to complaints and deescalating tense situations. • Assisting in developing and implementing an OIS training program for Medicentre staff.• LPN duties as listed below.• Triage, assess, collaborate with physicians and provide treatment for patients who qualify for the Fastrack program (UTI, suture and staple removal, sprains and strains, prescription refills, wound care, travel immunizations and all other injections, blood pressure assessment and patient education).• Register patients and confirm and update demographics.• Room patients and assist doctors with assessments and treatments.• Order and account for Immunizations and supplies for the clinic.• OIS nursing - including assisting the doctor with assessments and treatments of workplace injuries and completing paperwork for WCB, communication with patient’s employer. Also, working with the Business Development Manager to reach out to the community and increase awareness and utilization of the OIS service.
