2020 was a great year for growth, in my personal career and for the cycling industry as it was our highest volume year at Atlanta Cycling. I began as a part-time sales associate, then became purchaser and inventory manager. I reduced shrinkage by monitoring inventory at eight locations by conducting site visits with quarterly cycle counts and building relationships with store associates to understand the needs of our business. I met with vendors to discuss new products releases to make sure I'm making an educated decision in purchasing inventory. This experience has given me behind the scenes access to business operations, particularly how our small business had to quickly adapt to the demands of our customers. It sharpened my critical thinking skills and made me a better problem solver.

Providing support to dealers using Trek's retail management software, Ascend. Experience writing SQL queries and making modifications to existing queries based on a dealer's needs. Troubleshooting and assisting with setting up workstations for new stores.

Ensures accurate verification of applicants and existing customer information to determine a pass or fail by following documented policies and procedures to uphold regulatory requirements. Manages a backlog of applications so that productivity, accuracy, and SLA goals are met. Maintains awareness of policy and procedure updates via quarterly training. Communicates with applicants to obtain needed documentation or information to complete the credentialing process.

During my time at REI I built empathy for the customer experience by extensive in-field product demos. I became an advocate for the outdoors through community park clean-up events and educating novice adventurers on best practices for a successful trip outside. Our mission was to show that anyone can be "outdoorsy".
