Leading a broad range of projects to ensure the maintenance and development of a strong talent pipeline

Partnering with the Corporate functions (Finance, IT, Company Secretariat, Sustainability, Corporate Communications) as well as leading on a number of key projects.Key achievements:• Partnered with the CFO and his team to relocate the operational Finance and IT functions from London to Reading. Challenges included organisational design, redundancy, engagement, recruitment and retention issues.• Led the project to build and deliver a Career Framework (based on Hay job evaluation) to Hammerson.• Drove Hammerson’s Diversity agenda forward, including the establishment of reporting, unconscious bias training and equal pay auditing.• Key contributor to the company’s Annual Report in the areas of HR and Executive Remuneration. • Built effective relationships with managers across multiple locations

Partnering with the Property Development and London & West Midlands Operations teams to deliver their business plans. Key achievements:• Identified and delivered the people challenges associated with UNITE’s commitment to provide 3,600 bedrooms to LOCOG for the London 2012 Olympic Games. This included resourcing, training, engagement, recognition and employee relations issues.• Reduced voluntary attrition of permanent employees from 28% in 2011 to 19% in 2012 across the London operations teams.• Developed and ran interactive sessions for line managers on a range of people management issues.• Managed restructure of the Property Development team, reducing headcount by 30%• Built strong relationships with client group and earned an equal voice at Leadership meetings.• Oversaw complex cases and provided advice on a wide range of employee relations issues, resulting in zero claims getting to employment tribunal.

Temporary position to support a number of key projects

Ensured the delivery of all HR operations and services to the Retail Products and Finance functions, in addition to accountability for Compensation & Benefits, Internal Communications and HR Systems across the business. Supported the HR Director in driving the development and delivery of the HR strategy and operating plan.
