"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."—M. Scott PeckThe recent pandemic has affected everyone in different ways, and for me it opened my eyes to what is important, which is to pursue what makes me happy. In addition to working full time as an Associate Project Manager for the past few years, I also enrolled in the Master of Arts in English program at Northern Kentucky University. Writing has always been a passion I've been afraid to pursue, but it is a path that is meant for me. In addition to my masters degree, I will also graduate with a Certificate in Professional Writing. I am also fortunate enough to be a part of the Teaching and Mentoring Program through the partnership with NKU and Cincinnati State and Technical College, which has allowed me to also begin a teaching career in high education. By broadening my corporate skill set over the last 2 years, it allows me to be able to explore so many career paths and I feel privileged to continue to grow and develop my current skills while always striving for new ones.Someday I will write a best selling book, but in the meantime I look forward to the journey 😊
