As the Corporate Buyer, I'm involved in the the panning, selecting, and negotiations for Crossroads' new clothing and accessories department which supports stock levels at 37 Crossroads locations. Reporting to the Director with evaluations on sales performance, growth by location and forecasting opportunities for re-order & new branded opportunities. Together we monitor and analyze opportunities for improving and strengthening our assortment. As the Purchasing Manager, I manage the sourcing and distribution of Operating Supplies to the company. Skilled in maintaining vendor & account relationships, managing pricing contracts, and modernizing purchasing and receiving processes for the Purchasing department.

Search out and acquire new business. Responsible for finding current, past-season & closeout opportunities for women and men & accessories from contemporary brands. Create offers to current and potential vendors for pricing that fits with company's profit margin. Enter and track PO's in a yearly OTB and plan for yearly increases in sales and units sent by location.Research sell through reports for use in inventory control, transfer opportunities, and customer profiling by location. Fulfill monthly and quarterly operating supply requests (including new store openings) for the company.Update and manage fulfillment processes to ensure they are efficient and evolving with the growth of the company. Assist in forecasting and managing a yearly budget; look for opportunities to save money through vendor terms, contract pricing, and accurate invoicing. Assist in managing a team of Distribution Center employees who are responsible for allocating thousands of units per week without error to Crossroads stores.
