Tackling some of the biggest policy and technological barriers to community solar development nationally. I develop CCSA’s strategy for engaging and participating in state-level policy discussions and regulatory proceedings related to connecting more community solar to the distribution grid -- including distribution system interconnection, integrated grid planning, cost allocation, and grid modernization.

Designed and implemented programs that serve low-income customers and frontline communities, including EBCE's first Community Solar program and our “Connected Communities” pilot aimed at assisting customers who are at risk of having their electric service disconnected.

Represented EBCE in regulatory proceedings and evaluated proposed policies at the California Public Utilities Commission, with a focus on issues affecting low-income customers and frontline communities, as well as developments related to transportation electrification, building electrification, and distributed energy resources. I formulated policy positions on issues, developed analyses, participated in public hearings, and authored public comments. My portfolio of regulatory cases included: - Regulatory proceedings affecting low-income customers and frontline communities in EBCE's service area, including the CPUC's Affordability and Disconnections proceedings- DER-related regulatory proceedings, including NEM 2.0/Disadvantaged Communities Green Tariff and Community Solar Green Tariff, Transportation Electrification, SGIP, Building Electrification, Microgrids and Clean Energy Financing Options

Managed PG&E's engagement in the Integrated Distributed Energy Resources (IDER) and Distribution Resources Plan (DRP) proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission. These proceedings focus on identifying optimal locations and procurement mechanisms for distributed energy resources.

Led technical and policy analysis to inform PG&E's renewable energy procurement strategy and get to 50% renewables by 2030.● Spearheaded PG&E’s annual Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS) Procurement Plan. ● Created analyses, written reports, and presentations to support PG&E’s policy positions on renewable energy issues.● Forecasted PG&E's renewable energy position and led analysis of risks to PG&E’s portfolio through stochastic optimization modeling.

Provided quantitative research support and maintained strong understanding of the regulatory and technological landscape of the industry, with a focus on RPS supply and demand, utility procurement strategies, and grid-scale energy storage technology. Contributed to in-depth market studies through primary and secondary research. 8-month internship culminated in full-time employment.

Analyzed wind resource data to support feasibility studies for wind power projects across the country. Led a four-person analysis team for one of the company's largest clients.
