We advise the political top on international affairs and align activities with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My package includes UNESCO, United Nations Summit of the Future, SDG focal point, emancipation, education and science, and our Kingdom.

Secondment for Rijkstraineeship and Ministry of Education, Culture and Science for temporary assignment. UNESCO NL operates as a link between The Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to UNESCO in Paris and the Dutch civil society. My role is to:• Advise on and organize the international UNESCO conference on the 70th anniversary of the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. Working together in a consortium with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence and UNESCO Paris.• Organize several events and lectures concerning the 75th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration on Human Rights.• Attended and contributed to the 18th Meeting of the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict at UNESCO HQ in Paris, France.

The workgroup Accessible Politics has a core mission: making political parties accessible to everyone with a disability and normalizing people with disabilities in politics. As Commissioner Politics I contribute to analyzing relevant debates at the House of Representatives, write up motions and amendments, and more.

As a board member and commissioner of external relations at the human rights institution, I am responsible for building and maintaining contact with local partners for Amnesty to become more visible. At the same time I am responsible for multiple projects such as providing human rights education to adults and children, organizing events to bring awareness on human rights etc.

As an adivsor, I kept my clients informed on the latest political developments and tried to make their voice heard towards politicians, government and the social environment. Writing up policy analyses and (public affairs) strategies was part of my responsibilities.

Publyon, formerly known as Dröge & van Drimmelen, is a public affairs/management consultancy firm in The Hague, Shanghai, New York, Copenhagen and Brussels. As an intern I was mainly responsible for the political and media monitoring of the Dutch House of Representatives. Also, I worked for clients such as Google, Netflix and Salesforce.

Policy Writer for the West Wing Think Tank 2021-2022 for the track Permanent Mission of the Netherlands to the United Nations in New York.This is a think tank created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands for students and young professionals in order to provide the ministry with creative and innovative ideas on current policy questions and challenges.The main objective of this year’s PR UN, New York track is to seek innovative solutions to the following question: Based on international developments and advice, how can the Kingdom of the Netherlands best shape its position and commitment to 'pandemic preparedness and response' within the UN?

Machiavelli is the study association for Political Science students at the University of Amsterdam and with more than 1600 members the largest as well as the oldest study association for political science students in the Netherlands. I was in charge of organizing international trips to Brussels to e.g. NATO, Headquarters of the European Parliament, the Dutch Embassy and the Human Rights Watch and maintain relations with stakeholders of Machiavelli.

My role as an Ambassador was to help and attract prospective students to ESHCC and the International Bachelor Communication and Media programme. Tasks include organizing student for a day events, working at bachelor open days, present at classroom lectures and communicating with prospective students through the website, over the phone and on social media platforms. I was also an Ambassador at the National University of Singapore during my semester abroad.

Department: Foreign Commercial Services (FCS) at the Embassy of the United States of America in The HagueDuring this internship, my work revolved around identifiying Dutch sales agents and distributors for American exporters, conduct (telephone) campaigns, write up topical market research reports covering the Dutch market, assist with international trade shows and other events taking place during the internship (annual 4th of July network celebration party) and day-to-day tasks.
