As Sr. Sociologist/Resettlement Specialist now I have completed 13 projects and led 8 teams in addressing social considerations for IEE, EIA and ESHIA reports for Chevron Projects, led five teams in preparing social and safeguard documents, particularly, Land Acquisition Plans, Resettlement Plans, PSA, SIA, Gender Plans and other social safety plans; also implemented Resettlement Action Plans with assistance of National NGOs. These 13 projects were funded by Chevron, Bangladesh, Bangladesh Railway, Bangladesh Bridge Authority, JICA and ADB. Now I am involved in four projects in order to carry out social and safeguard activities, particularly, have been preparing the safeguard documents after conducting the socioeconomic and census surveys of affected persons; as well as implementing the RAP with assistance of a national NGO. Also conducting a social feasibility study in order to construct a high standard International Airport in Bangladesh in the name of the father of the Nation, Bangabandhu.

Over all Project Management, Institutional Development, M & E, Research & Development, Liaison with Government, NGOs and Private Sector, Capacity Building of the Local Government Institutions and NGOs and Community Based Organizations particularly, in the WSS projects.

Mainly involved in the Water Supply and Sanitation Projects ensuring participatory approaces throughout the project implementation process. The main components were:Social development through community based participatory process Institutional development of local governments Poverty alleviation and gender development through International Donors International and National NGOs Designing the research studyField research and internal evaluations of project and report preparation Baseline survey Planning, developing, designing and implementation of monitoring tools and techniques Conduct regular progress and periodical effect monitoring of the projects; periodical and annual report preparation Capacity building of Local Government Institutions, NGOs and Community Based Organizations particularly social development focusing poverty and gender Assist Management Team in formulating need-based policies and programmes which particularly address participatory social development, gender development, poverty and institutional building issues.

As a Research Team Member I evaluated the impact of agricultural development activities of Danida supported Noakhali Project. Involved in stakeholder consultations, data analysis and report writing.
