I possess a solid foundation and comprehensive knowledge of both renewable and non-renewable forms of energy. During my Masters in energy, I was associated with developing an experimental setup for conducting solid fuel combustion experiments with different blends of coal and biomass. During my Ph.D., my research focused on the application of renewable fuels like biodiesel, biogas, and producer gas and clean alternative fuels, such as methane, hydrogen, carbon monoxide in compression ignition engines for generation of decentralized power. I conducted in-depth studies and experiments to analyze the impact of these fuels on engine combustion characteristics, engine emissions, and overall efficiency and also published research articles in highly reputed international journals. My research work was a part of project titled “Development of renewable energy technology package for clean power generation in remote utility”, funded by Science Engineering and Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India and I was actively involved in successful completion of the project. As a project staff, I was actively involved in a project funded by Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Govt. of India where my research is dedicated to the utilization of biomass in a dual fluidized bed gasification system for power generation. In my previous role as a Mechanical Engineer in a marble manufacturing industry, I gained experience in managing workforce for various plant maintenance tasks, involved in preventive, schedule maintenance work. Additionally, during my tenure as a faculty at North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), I had the opportunity to teach undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the technical aspects of energy systems. I am well-versed in conducting experiments, analyzing data and presenting research findings to diverse audiences.
