1- Assisted in the establishment of the AOU 3rd Strategic Plan, and in setting the five years action plans.2- Was a member of the Quality Assurance Revalidation Sub-Committee, which was responsible for the preparation and revision of the accreditation documents as well as the coordination with the Open University-UK. 3- Assisted in the preparing the Revalidation Self Assessment Documents pertaining to the office of the Vice Rector for Planning, Research and Development.4- Assisted in responding to the Open University - UK revalidation conditions.5- Assisedt in producing the quarterly and annual reports pertaining to the Research and Development Department.6- Assisted in producing the budget pertaining to the the office of the Vice Rector for Planning, Research and Development.7- Organizing and coordinating conferences and symposia; example: The Symposium on Quality Assurance for Cross Border of Higher Education that was organized in collaboration with the UNESCO office in Doha.8- Communicating and following-up with international universities and bodies, in order to explore opportunities of academic collaboration.9- Responsible for reviewing the Bylaws and Regulations related to the office of the Vice Rector for Planning, Research and Development, and accordingly provide advice in cases of violation or necessary changes.

1- Responsible for organizing and administrating the Academic Committee Meetings, in addition to writing the minutes and following-up on the decisions.2- Responsible for monitoring the quality assurance of the academic processes, including reviewing the Academic Bylaws and Procedures.3- Responsible for coordinating the External Examiners’ affairs and managing the Central Examination Committee meetings.4- Assisted the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs (VRAA) in preparing the University academic plans and reports.5- Organized and coordinated the University's 2007 Reacreditation events.6- Communicating and coordinating with the OUVS, AOU HQ and branches on all events related to the office of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs.7- Responsible for students’ affairs and complaints.
