• Provide legal advice and make recommendations regarding actions to be taken on legal matters.
• Service meetings that take place in negotiations (at the level of leaders and negotiators as well as sessions of committees, expert groups and other bodies), including by preparing background materials and issue.
• Conducting extensive legal research and analysis and providing legal opinions, recommendations, studies, summaries, reports and correspondence.
• Participates in negotiations and resolution of claims, disputes, or admissions of guilt, to include the development of strategy and approach and the preparation of related documents.
• Represents the organization in cases before arbitration and other judicial or administrative procedures, including disciplinary cases and employee appeals.
