Master in Physics Education and post-graduated in Mathematics from the University of Brasília (UnB), Samara was part of the first class of educators certified by Google in 2014 as Google Certified Innovator. She is also a Google Certified Trainer. As a "teacherpreneur" she co-founded Amplifica and works as a Consultant in Education and Innovation. She is a trainer at 6Ds Brasil and a member of Teya. Worked for more than 20 years in Basic Public and Private Education as a Physics teacher, in the pedagogical coordination of Natural Sciences, and in the Development & Management of training projects for Educators and Educational Leaders. Samara coordinated the first school in distance education for adults at the Department of Education of Brasília, where she also served as a trainer of the Educational Technology team. Samara writes frequently for magazines, websites/blogs, and talks about Educational Technologies. She has a YouTube channel in partnership with Carla Arena (Ampliflix) and considers that the unique opportunity to work in education can be enhanced by technology and extended beyond that magical face-to-face and synchronous minutes. She also works voluntarily as a Leader of the Google Educators Group in Brasília and as an Ambassador at STEPUP Physics Together, an international entity that works for the inclusion of more girls in Physics as a way to contribute more and more to a universal, public, free and social education. Her ventures and projects are a milestone in her ideal of sharing learning and experiences.Married to Max, mother of 3: Matheus (Engineer, 24yrs), Astrid (Almost Designer, 21yrs), and Maria Clara (Wants to be a scientist, 14yrs).
