My job role focuses on making sure contracts are sold correctly and compliantly to the customer, maximising potential of live rates with respective suppliers. This includes resolving objections to transfers, meter/supply related issues etc. The job focuses on increasing potential revenue for business, building and maintaining supplier relationships. I was previously and account Manager, specialising in securing contracts for businesses surrounding their gas and electricity needs and advising them on how their business could save money.

This area of business was predominantly B2C and covered a wide range of departmentsHOME MOVES:Key responsibilities involved helping customers move in and out of their homes and making sure new contracts were secured at their new address and closed appropriately at their old address. I also advised customers on our range of products and tariffs which would best suit them and also retaining customers, handling the switching process if their new premises is not EON supplied.I also dealt with a large volume of billing, payment and metering queries including, but not limited to;- Customers wanting to update their meter readings due to an estimated bill- Payments on accounts- Setting up payment plans due to debt- Dealing with erroneous transfers of supply- Advising customers of the appropriate steps to take if they have a faulty meter- Helping customers with their online accountsSMART METERING DEPARTMENTResponsibilities included the above listed on Credit and Smart Meters including:- Correcting AMR readings- Advising customers how their smart meter works- Advising customers on the appropriate steps to take if an issue with their smart meter occurs- Collection of meter data to produce accurate bills
