I was promoted to Business Development / Partnerships Manager to proactively develop and grow West Coast Eagles’ corporate partnerships and brand / network in Victoria. This included creating, executing and leading the strategic direction of East Coast marketing operations, managing and delivering the East Coast operational budget and collaborating with various departments to coordinate events and campaigns.Highlights included:• Independently developed and executed the entire strategy and operational implementation of various successful programs that collectively exceeded revenue targets by 300% in 2019 and 200% in 2020. This included a wide range of Events; Melbourne Coterie Group, consisting of 30 high net wealth members / companies; and Corporate Match Day Events, selling out all events for WCE’s MCG games in 2020 which was forecast to exceed target by 300% (pre-Covid-19). • Implemented the first ever West Coast Eagles Past Players Alumni group.• Successfully acquired and developed partnerships with major corporate clients e.g. AGL, Telstra, Hungry Jacks, BHP, CUB, Lend Lease etc., negotiating and managing commercial advertising, sponsorship and community programs. • Managed partnerships with annual spends of over $10M.

Following a 14-year career as a professional athlete with the West Coast Eagles Football Club, I transitioned to a new position within the club as Premium Account Manager. In this role, I managed and nurtured key client relationships with an existing portfolio of over 120 Premium Hospitality clients from diverse sectors, including Mining, Building & Construction, Telco, Banking, Professional Services etc. Highlights included:• Ensured the achievement of sales objectives by delivering organic growth within existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. Networked with key clients to identify and address specific needs.• Championed and evolved departmental and interdepartmental cultural changes.• Successfully acquired $600K of new client spend within first 6 months. • Managed over $1.5M of client spend per year.
