The main part of my role is working with the rest of the team providing our tailored services to our clients. We help farmers with a wide variety of difficulties, whether it is administration, completing forms, access and rights over land or property management.Some of our clients come to see me about providing advice on valuations, for secured lending, tax and legal proceedings. I also provide advice on compulsory purchase and what compensation they may be due. I help provide information and advice on the single farm payment and basic payment schemes, helping clients fill in the necessary paperwork.I undertake tender applications, business plans, gross margins, cash flows and budgets. I help with planning applications for variety of purposes from farm workers dwellings to agricultural buildings.Rostons help landlords as well as tenants, so sometimes I help with property management and tenancies. This includes writing rent reviews, settling landlord and tenant disputes as well as end of tenancy compensation.I am also responsible for business development and aim to enhance the company reputation within the agricultural sector.The best part of my work is seeing my client walk away feeling satisfied with the service they were provided. I met a wide variety of clients from farmers to landlords and developed a good relationship with them.
