As the District Director of the SBA for the State of Alaska, I am responsible for promoting all SBA programs and to ensure the effective delivery of services. Capital Access programs include SBA loans (7a and 504); Microloans, government contracting assistance, technical assistance to entrepreneurs, exporters, and disaster assistance. New initiatives in progress include Small Loan Advantage and Community Advantage to drive capital to underserved market areas and 504 refinances to help prevent foreclosures and to save jobs. SBA helps banks and credit unions get to the YES decision on a loan. Start up America is a new initiative....reaching out to high growth, high tech and high impact businesses to help with start up and growth.SBA Also supports Regional Innovation Clusters. “Clusters are public-private partnerships that are driving innovation and job creation in our most promising regional hubs for innovation,” I am passionate about helping you find the resources your business needs to start, grow and succeed, and helping our cities, states and nation grow strong economies with engaged active and involved workforces..
