A continuation from the Bombardier graduate scheme. My continued time on the graduate scheme led to experiences as a mechanical systems engineer leading modifications to QSK19 engines implementing a new starter motor and hydraulic hoses. Towards the end of the scheme I gained experience as a Methods Engineer creating overhaul processes for new contracts and solving process related issues.

The role requires me to analyse and assess the overhaul process to ensure our product will be safe and reliable for both passengers and staff. After delivery, we continue to monitor our products, coordinating any modifications required that address safety and reliability concerns, and ensure completion. I have also gained hands-on experience to develop my understanding of the fundamental principles and processes conducted in the overhaul process, due to working on the shop floor for an extended period.
