Hi. Welcome. I'm Sam - creative, designer, storyteller, strategist, dreamer.With a passion for good design that serves a purpose and tells a story, I am excited about engagement, amplifying voices and building strategies that go beyond a piece of paper.With a love of the creative world, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, majoring in Graphic Design from Torrens University. I also hold qualifications in Creative Direction, Photography and Interior Design.I have built experience over several years in the Melbourne and Canberra design scenes, working as an in-house brand designer, under freelance contracts with brands of all sizes, and within agency studio environments. I have created brand guidelines, produced print, digital and social campaigns, and lead and contributed to creative teams that design innovative solutions and tell amazing stories. I have provided art direction and photography, built and maintained strong client and stakeholder relationships, and built strategy and campaigns.As the Brand and Youth Voice Senior Manager for the Y Canberra Region, I lead the marketing and brand for the organisation, design and implement strategic directions, collaborate with (very talented) internal and external stakeholders and provide graphic design and photography support. Within my role at the Y, as well as contributing to the WhyNot Platform, I get excited to share people's stories, creative innovative solutions and build designs that excite, inspire and spark conversations. With each endeavour, I strive to foster innovation, creativity and positive social impact.
