The W. H. Thompson Learning Community is a scholarship program at UNL in which students that come from low income homes in Nebraska are selected to receive a full ride to any Nebraska University. There are approximately 1000 students with the scholarship that currently attend UNL. To receive the scholarship students are required to participate in events, take a few specific classes, and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
