With more than 13 years of experience in the power sector, Sameer is currently executing digital transformation at ReNew through energy management use cases using 4IR technologies. He is heading the Energy Management vertical and is leading a team of Product Owners. The role involves understanding and analyzing customer requirements, defining product vision, strategy, roadmap and features, defining architectures, AI/ML model development & deployment, UI/UX design and incorporation of user feedback. Delivery is ensured using Agile best practices. He has delivered some of the most innovative digital solutions in the Indian power sector and was awarded with the 'Shining Star' award for the same. Earlier, as EA to CEO of GMR Energy and during his career at JSPL, Sameer was involved in the development and execution of operational strategy, budgeting and forecasting, Corporate Strategy formulation, market monitoring and CXO stakeholder management. He gained key skills in Bidding, Natural Resource Auctions, SDR/CDR, New Business launch, Market Entry, New product development etc. He has gained a versatile experience in major functions of business including Digital Transformation, Corporate Planning, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Sales, Business Development and New product development. He is highly creative in his work and a fast learner. His aim is to contribute his bit towards energy decarbonization and Net Zero. He has an MBA from IIM Kozhikode and a degree in Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering
