CurrentAlta Verba produces and publishes the print editions of Signe and Global Citizen Magazines, plus the online edition Signe Magazine and its complementary social media channels. Signe is a Dubai focused bi-monthly men's luxury lifestyle magazine. Global Citizen is a bi-monthly magazine catering to the globetrotting elite. • Working remotely in Mangalore, India, I coordinated with the editorial team based in Dubai for article briefs and editorial instructions. • Primarily responsible for writing and editing articles ranging between 400 and 2,000 words. • Subject areas covered by the two magazines include: watches, automobiles, yachts, fashion and accessories, grooming, dining, travel, hospitality, property, art, and philanthropy. • The range of articles include research-based in-depth analysis, biographies, product reviews, and exclusive content based one-on-one interviews. • Exclusive in-person and written interviews are presented in either Q&A or feature format. • The in-person interview is transcribed and edited from audio/video to text with the help of AI-driven software.Signe Online Edition (signemagazine.com) complements the print edition by publishing articles on time-bound subjects and events. Its Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts act as inbound traffic generators to the articles published on the website. • Responsible for composing and editing articles for the website • Composing the captions for each of the Social Media channels, with respect to the online article. • Uploading the articles and respective images to the website, via WordPress. • Uploading media (images/animation/video), captions and relevant hashtags to the Social Media accounts. • Images or animations are rendered in the requisite format using Canva.com.
