CurrentMajor ResponsibilityLooking after matters pertaining to Procurement and Contracts on Nationwide basis. Maintain and improve the procurement process to effectively meet organization and company goals. Develop and lead execution of the procurement strategy to maximize cost reduction, quality. Identify, develop and lead cost savings projects to achieve assigned savings targets. Responsible for the management of sourcing projects including Vendor selection, development of contract terms and conditions, pricing, licensing, functionality, and product/service acquisition. Responsible for procurement planning, development of requests for proposals, contract negotiations, awards, administration, terminations and close-outs, and perform acquisition planning, price/cost analyses for designated actions, formulation of negotiation strategies, development of negotiation objectives, and negotiation of contracts to support company initiatives. Effective management of the complete life cycle of assigned contracts pertaining to lease, administration, marketing, sales and distribution, customer care, IT, HR, security, Technical, Civil. Provides cradle-to-grave contracts administration support to assigned contracts in compliance with company policies and requirements. Visit suppliers and hold supplier review meetings to drive improved supplier performance in cost, quality, service, innovation, fit, and long-term competitive advantage. Develop strategic business relationships with key suppliers. Develop purchasing plans and strategies, budgets, and other documents required to communicate and plan effectively. Track underlying raw material cost components and recommend changes in material coverage designed to minimize unfavorable price impacts. Manage the supplier base to prevent business interruptions during supplier transitions. Build sourcing strategy, business plan, measurements and reporting.
