As a Javascript Software Engineer at OpenVantage, my core responsibilities are to develop and maintain web applications using Angular, Nestjs with PostgreSQL, and Flowable. The main project that I currently work on is a Monorepo [Nx] application that has multiple different applications built off of a singular code base. The highlight applications that I work on, derived from the above application includes: A vehicle management tool used for access control; and a warehouse management tool used for inventory management, order management and warehouse management - that integregates with Sage.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:* Successfully created violation notification system that triggers notifications to a list of users when vehicles stood in a particular geofence for a particular amount of time.* Improved the performance of legacy codebase by refactoring and optimizing JavaScript code. The goal was to automate mundane tasks and reduce the amount of time and effort used to log and resolve a ticket in ServiceNow. We had created code in a flow format that served as a 'backend' system.
