Building financial search and NLP solutions with end-to-end experience, from ideation and prototyping to deployment in production.At Bloomberg, I have worked on financial search systems, speech models, and a variety of NLP tasks. My work involves staying up to date with the latest methods, such as large language models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), with the goal of applying them to production systems while focusing on measuring their readiness and performance on diverse, real-world data.Previously:- PhD, School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, where I focused on developing sequence-to-sequence models for speech-to-text in low-resource languages. I also hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on machine learning theory and robotics.- Embedded systems development for avionics and wireless applications at Honeywell, contributing to advanced R&D, flight controls, and navigation.
