R&D ( Hair Care)• 5S (Savings), Resilience & supply chain support• Co-ordinating with cluster procurement for new raw materials from alternate suppliers, from compliance check to final approval in manufacturing• Defining & executing the cluster-specific validation plan for new raw material approvals by liaising with Local Country and Global R&Ds

Product/Formulation Development:• Provide leadership during product ideation & design phase through research, engagement with senior stakeholders and understanding marketing needs• Formulation and evaluation as per planned product brief• Pilot plant trials, including factory visits to evaluate preparedness for a large-scale manufacturing• Liaising with other departments viz. Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Packaging and Vendors to work towards common goal of sustainable competitive advantage for productsOperations and Governance:• Training new recruits in laboratory-related activities• Meticulous documentation of product formulation / processes• Producing monthly reports as well as adhoc research analysis to senior management (R&D and Business Head) Product categories: Range of hair colour formulations (Domestic as well as Professional) Dry hair category processes  Domestic as well as international NPD projects on mosquito repellent long lasting sustained release creams, gels, sprays and aerosols Personal care, baby care and toiletries  Cost saving projects Non-NPD projects: Projects driven by self initiatives with implementation of novel product ideas in different product categories, novel product formats
