Expert in organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, peptide and polypeptide synthesis, Hydrogels, porous materials and Nanomaterials e.g. silica, polymer, MOFs, COFS, preparation, characterization and for use in several medical and industrial applications.Ph.D in Chemistry and material sciences from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in Spain. My PhD Thesis was devoted to the synthesis and characterization of chromo-fluorogenic probes and porous materials for the selective and sensitive detection of anions and neutral molecules and for separation applications. More than 30 published papers and book chapters in highly ranked journals and 1 patent. Working with international groups and people from different backgrounds, I worked before in Egypt, Spain, Italy, Ireland and currently in the UK. I started as chemical engineer to an area manger, developing products as caustic soda, polyvinyl chloride polymer (PVC), HCl and chlorine gas.
