• Responsible for overall Operations manpower strategy, including forecasting needs and potential shortfalls• Manage all scheduling in terms of annual leave, management of sick leave, unpaid annual, and end 2013 with 0.5% remaining against the 2% yearly target.• Liaise with HSSE, HR and OPS Training to schedule any training or events throughout the organization, • Negotiation and management of Subcontractor Provider contracts, including Drivers, Lashing and staffing gangs, 950 persons, distributed over six companies.

• As part of the Operation Shift Managers team, leading SCCT operations department during the toughest three years during the Egyptian revolution, and participate actively in achieve the segment result target.• Coaching and develop the Superintendents team, which lead to promote two of them into operations shift manager position.• Act as Operations Safety coordinator, member of Safety Committee representing the operations department.• Represent the Operations department on the Subcontractor Committee, where we build motivational environment for the Subcontractors staff.• Member of SCCT Global Transformation Team, leading Quay Crane team, succeed to reduce handover time by 20 min.

• Responsible under the direction of the Shift Manager for the allocation and control of shift operational staff and the effective utilization of equipment resources to meet the planned objectives, achieve 35 GMPH on monthly basis.• Coordinate with vessel/yard planners any required changes to the initial plans • Ensure continues operations are maintained during shift changeovers and for Container Handling Equipment Operator (CHE) operators changeover for rest periods• Liaise with engineering supervisory staff to minimize breakdown time and maximize equipment availability• Ensure safe working practices according to SCCT policies and procedures are strictly adhered to and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times by SCCT employees/Contractors required in operational areas of the terminal
