• Assist management with operational and strategic planning for the Application Support unit, including fostering innovation, planning projects, organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.• Responsible for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development upgrades and support of all business software applications, card and ATM processing platforms.• Responsible for support of end-users, business application and platform availability• Works with management and business units to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.• Review, design, implement and maintain application in addition to recovery methodologies and ensuring maximized recovery of all bank applications and processing platforms• Prepare proposals for possible new technology solutions and revisions to existing infrastructure for the enhancement of performance and business productivity• Manage and lead team members in the support, documentation and resolution of technical support issues• Plan, design and recommend automated processes for manual activities where required • Manage and mentor team members, assist with recruitment of new resources, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.• Manage certifications with all international networks(Visa and MasterCard)• Analyze, design, recommend and deploy approved card product parameterizations and solutions for credit, debit and prepaid products• Manage and support connections to international card networks and local bank participants• Responsible for maintenance and support of ATM devices• Ensure maximum availability of applications, processing platforms and system reports at all times • Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.• Assist with training of subordinates and bank IT related training sessions for staff.
