Sameh Samir, An Egyptian cartoonist, He was born in 1988, studying Civil Engineering at the faculty of Engineering Cairo University. He is a cartoonist, publishing his works at Sabah Al khair Magazine- Rosalyousef Foundation starting from 2012. He also published his cartoon drawings at A-Masry Al-Yom newspaper starting from March 2011 till June 2012 and then he continued publishing again from 2017. He is also publishing his drawings at "Al-Ain.com" UAE Website and RNW | Radio Netherlands Worldwide "lmarabic.com".Moreover, he has published his cartoon drawings at noreed.com news website. He has also worked there as an arbitrator for a monthly cartoon contest for a year.· He Makes illustrations for books, the latest one is "the Butterfly wings" it is for the writer Ragy Amer and one of the best seller in Egypt in years 2018/2019.Furthermore, He is a cartoon lecturer for youth in more than one organization working under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Culture ( Alwan- Baldna Initiative- Bashkatib).He participated in many events and art exhibitions in more than one governorates. One of them is Rosalyousef at Arts Palace in 2016. He held his own cartoon exhibition in 2011 at Opera House about January Revolution.He made drawings for campaigns against sexual harassment and female circumcision in cooperation with National Population Council and UNESCO.He makes cooperation with the Ministry of solidarity to produce the publication of FGM and Early Marriage issues (Illustrations, design and print)He makes drawings for (Qatr El Nada) the children magazine in Egypt, and made many projects for children with Ford association about children sexual abuse also he cooperates with NGOsorganizations like UNFPA, Plan and Caritas drawing for children and women rights campaignsHe also has a certified printed drawing against sexual abuse for children at the Egyptian National Library and Archives.He is Invited from the US department of state to visit USA and participate in the 2019 IVLP Program for Editorial cartoonists.www.samehcartoon.comFounder of Melise Advertising Agencywww.melise.net
