As per my year in industry for my degree, I am partaking in an intern role as a Internal Sales Executive at Tech Data whereby I aim to develop key skills and industry knowledge

During the end of the Summer I worked in the Landscaping business for the Bidder Group for a month around Surrey. During this period I was exposed to customer interaction and also working alongside other employees. I believe this part time job enhanced both my ability to interact not only employees but also customers in a business environment

I took part in a 1 week internship in Acquia's U.K headquarters. Through the course of a week, I shadowed the varying departments within the business and various meetings. Some notable departments were Sales and Marketing. This week provided a clear insight, first hand to the operations of a person in a real environment. This week gave me further insight to the effect of the final quarter of the business year and the impact this entails for the business.
