In my capacity as the CEO of the group, my primary focus lies in strategically spearheading market expansion initiatives within the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.

I spearheaded a strategic initiative aimed at optimizing cloud costs. During my tenure at the company, I had the privilege of undertaking several significant responsibilities:Legacy Code Migration: I played a pivotal role in crafting a comprehensive solution for the migration of legacy code to the Google Cloud platform. This task required intricate planning, architectural design, and meticulous execution.Software Development: As a software engineer, I was deeply involved in the development of new software solutions. This included designing, coding, and testing software applications tailored to meet specific business needs.Legacy Code Support: Alongside working on cutting-edge projects, I actively supported and maintained our legacy codebase. Managed a team of 10 people(Software Developers, UI/UX engineers, Graphic Designers, Content Creators) that deliver recurrent and new projects. Over the years, I have been responsible for the delivery of more than 25 projects at AltCom for international and national companies. The projects that have been delivered have generated more than 14,000,000$ in revenue for our clients rendering our mission critical.Lead the backend team as a Senior Java Developer to build projects that required micro services and complicated backend architectures for streaming content, and E-Commerce data management.Running a daily standup, task management, project budgeting and risk/delivery management.Overviewed several languages and stacks including, Elixir/Phoenix , Java/Spring Boot, Node/NextJs, Android/Java, IOS/ Flutter and Swift, ASP .NET/MVC.Deployed software over both AWS and GCP.Impact:Implemented the scrum methodology and moved the team from ad-hoc to agile.Implemented scrumban and created SOPs for workflow automation, reducing resource blockage that lead to an increase in KPIs.Implemented CI/CD on all existing projects, blue green deployment groups and made things more efficient in general.

Oversaw the design of hardware technology for various applications, including:Conceptualizing and designing a 4D experience booth for Redbull Lebanon, which replicated the sensation of cliff jumping. This immersive booth featured a heart rate sensor and employed cutting-edge machine learning and image processing technologies.Developed a digital wheel of fortune that could be activated through physical motion, offering a unique interactive experience. This technology was utilized in marketing activations by Alfa Telecom.Created a virtual Photo Booth with integrated photo editing capabilities, enabling users to capture, print, and enhance photos in real-time. This solution found use in marketing activations by SGBL SAL Bank.Currently involved in an ongoing project focused on a matrix mirror built atop image processing technology.These endeavors showcase a diverse portfolio of innovative hardware designs and technology implementations.

Directed the design and implementation of an affordable solution to monitor deployed firefighters. Spearheaded the creation of a successful prototype that utilized geo-location filtering algorithms, including the Kalman gain filter, and employed various hardware enhancements such as FAD systems for improved GPS signals and mobile network boosters.Furthermore, achieved finalist status in the "Change Makers" startup competition, organized by the Hult Prize Foundation, securing $10,000 in AWS Amazon credits. Concurrently, managed a team of four individuals dedicated to the project's development track.

Took charge of designing and constructing the foundational infrastructure and backend for their platform. Additionally, excelled in crafting user-centric, mobile front-end applications.

Discovered a vulnerability in the Facebook platform 'WhatsApp' that allowed me to track users' online/offline status. Leveraged this finding to develop a mobile app named What'sTracker as a proof of concept, amassing approximately 130,000 users. Eventually, the app had to be taken down following the bug's resolution. Technologies employed included Java Spark, MySQL, and Java for Android.Additionally, created the TWRP Recovery Installer app, designed to automatically root devices and install Android recoveries, which garnered and maintained approximately 110,000 users. Regrettably, I had to discontinue support due to academic commitments. This project also utilized Java Spark, MySQL, and Java for Android.I was an active contributor to the XDA Developers forum, using the alias "Samer Diab." There, I played a pivotal role in open source recovery projects, facilitated the porting of kernels from newer to older devices, and maintained Android ROMs.In 2012, I developed and successfully sold my first website. This website facilitated the connection to Carfax and Copart APIs, enabling users to access used car reports. The technologies employed for this venture included PHP, MySQL, and HTML.
